Sino-German Bioenergy Conference
The annual event, which has been taking place since 2009, was last held on 24 and 25 October 2024 in Anhui Province. The partner was the China Biogas Society and the supporter was the Rural Energy and Environment Agency and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China (MARA). The two-day conference focussed on policy, financing, new technologies and consulting and featured over 35 exhibitors. As an international platform for the latest technologies, innovations, machinery and equipment, the Sino-German Bioenergy Conference has developed into one of the leading events for bioenergy. Around 500 participants from Chinese and international bioenergy companies, rural energy bureaus and experts attended this national conference to exchange information and knowledge on policy and technology innovations and discuss developments, opportunities and challenges in the industry with an increased focus on international aspects.
Sino-German Cattle and Pig Symposium
The Sino-German Cattle and Pig Symposium was held in Beijing from 25 to 26 November 2023 with the partner ADT Projektberatung GmbH and supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China (MARA). The event focussed on technical innovations and opportunities for resource-efficient and environmentally friendly animal husbandry and breeding. Around 400 experts from the Chinese and German livestock industry, research institutes and representatives from companies and industry associations took part in the two-day conference. More than 30 exhibitors, including 18 German exhibitors, were counted. Four sub-forums on cattle and pigs were set up during the event, where experts and participants shared their views on market developments, feed quality and mechanisation, animal health and breeding, information technology and biosecurity. Experts and specialists from both countries gave 40 presentations on cattle and pigs.
EuroTier China
EuroTier China was held in three different Chinese locations from 2019 to 2021. EuroTier China provided an international platform where global brands, international industry leaders, leading experts and local farmers came together under one roof to not only share the latest technological innovations but also discuss key challenges currently facing the livestock sector. 300 exhibitors and more than 20,000 visitors from almost 13 countries from all sectors of the livestock industry were counted. Further figures for EuroTier China: 22,000 square metres of exhibition space, more than 20 specialist conferences and forums and more than 50 national and international media.
