Organiser of national and international trade fair pavilions
IFWexpo Heidelberg is DLG Markets' competence centre for national pavilions with a special focus on the German export promotion programme. Our structure and mindset are particularly suited to opening up new markets, especially in countries that are considered difficult and demanding. We have traditionally been particularly active in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus region and Central Asia.
Expertise for sophisticated markets
The regions in which IFWexpo operates are generally characterised by dynamic market development, often with a growing demand for innovative and sustainable solutions. In Central Asia, numerous newly established vertically integrated large-scale agricultural operations have led to significant increases in yields and thus also increased demand for high-quality harvesting, processing and storage options. In the markets of India, China and Southeast Asia, urbanisation is driving demand for land-saving cultivation methods and advanced food technology. In North and South America, interest in smart farming technologies, sustainable agricultural production methods and innovations in food processing has been growing for some time. The global trend towards greater sustainability has led to increased investment in environmentally friendly and energy-efficient technologies in agriculture and food processing in virtually all IFWexpo markets.
The airport sector is being driven by the rapidly growing middle class in the metropolitan centres of India, South East Asia and the Gulf region. Growing economies are thus increasing passenger volumes. This also applies to the growing importance of tourism for the emerging and industrialised countries in the region, which is resulting in numerous new airport upgrade and construction projects.
IWFexpo offers in-depth expertise in the organisation of trade fairs and exhibitions such as AGRITECHNICA and EuroTier
