The agra Agricultural Exhibition is the leading trade fair for agriculture, forestry, and the food industry in Central and Eastern Germany and is one of the largest agricultural trade fairs in Germany. Held every two years, it has become the most important meeting place for the sector. Key focus areas include agricultural machinery, livestock farming, crop production, and renewable energy.

Jagd & Angeln is aimed at hunters, anglers, outdoor and nature enthusiasts, as well as families. With a wide range of products, equipment, and live demonstrations, the trade fair offers a diverse experience focused on nature, hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities.

Events in retrospect

Jagd & Angeln 2025

From October 3 to 5, 2025, Jagd & Angeln 2025 took place in Markkleeberg near Leipzig, making it the largest outdoor trade fair in Central and Eastern Germany. The event featured an increased number of exhibitors and an expanded program.

Hall 2 hosted the largest fishing area in many years, with 29 exhibition and activity spaces. Hall 1 focused on hunting, traditional customs, forestry, and hunting dogs. A special emphasis was also placed on sheep farming, including the Federal Sheep Show, the Central German Sheep Show, and specialist events dedicated to livestock protection.


agra Agricultural Exhibition 2024

From April 11 to 14, 2024, Central and Eastern Germany’s largest agricultural trade fair presented itself as the central meeting place for the sector across approximately 110,000 m² of exhibition space. A total of 792 exhibitors showcased current technologies and trends across eight thematic areas, covering arable farming, animal breeding and livestock farming, as well as forestry. A total of 51,706 visitors experienced the diversity of the agricultural sector. Around 230 program items, including forums and specialist symposia, accompanied the trade fair.
